The skills I offer are based on experience as well as training. My story as a keyboard player in HIM is an extraordinary one. In my case, success and loss came hand in hand. I burned out and rose refreshed from that experience. Today, I hold bachelor degrees in audiovisual media and community education respectively. I am currently studying for a Master of Arts in Youth Work Leadership and Development. I work in Nuorten Väylä (Youth Pathway), a child protection service in Finland.
My talks consist of stories, instances and emotions. As a presenter I live in the moment, while in interviews I am always present with my guests.

I offer you content with variety and my experience as a speaker of ten years. The HIM story is a particularly good fit for young people or youth workers. However, the talk can be adapted to suit individual audiences, approaching the subject from different angles. The story is about the excitement of entering the music world, immense loss and the struggle of getting back to the surface. A long and complex journey has unlocked the deeper meaning behind an entire chain of events; my own "failure" turned into a success later in life.
My guiding principles for interviews are, “get to know the interviewee." In longer interviews, it is important that the guests feel comfortable. I always treat interviewees with dignity. My approach to hosting and presenting has consistently been lighthearted, so I can be less rigid, more casual. I throw my whole being into the act when I’m onstage. When you hire me, you get both professionalism and entertainment for your event!
Mission
My road is a vivid example of the stories in films and books where the path to the stars opens up by chance. I have performed for hundreds of thousands of people. The album Razorblade Romance, featuring the song “Join Me”, has sold over 100,000 copies in Finland and 2.5 million copies worldwide. The last 20 years since leaving the band have been a complex odyssey. I have often looked at myself in the mirror, finding a stranger looking back at me. After a disconcerting journey, I have found myself back where I started; both in my hometown and within myself.
My mission is to make people realise that life is made up of stories, instances and emotions. Within them anything can happen to anyone.
Why me?
I am the ideal person for a lecture, because there is no other story like it in Finland. As a committed HIM fan, no one else received the opportunity to play with the band through its historic international rise to fame. No one else is the inexperienced young man from a small town named Kouvola, who rose to stardom on the path paved by Ville Valo, managed to sustain the momentum for a while and ultimately ended up sinking into the bayou. From there, I walked a treacherous road in search of the freedom to be myself again.
By hiring me for a lecture, with my story, I can inspire those in challenging situations and give them the key to achieve the same inner freedom I have finally found myself.
